March 2012 Trip to the BMW Performance Center
So that others may live vicariously.
My daughter and I took a trip to Greer, SC to attend some classes at the BMW Performance Center for spring break. I enrolled in the 3 day dual sport foundation class and 2 day car control class. She enrolled in the 2 day teen car control class. Here is a screen capture from Google maps of the facility.  A quick shot of my daughter in the 335d.  As this is ADV, I will focus on the Moto stuff. The anticipation builds as I round the bend with a familiar view. I have been here several times before and will probably return again.  BMW uses this facility for training of all kinds(Driver, Rider, Service Technicians, etc.), as well as delivery of new cars if a customer orders a car and chooses delivery at the Performance Center.

As I pull into my parking spot I glance over to see a familiar face.
 Toad joined me for a return to the Performance Center to overcome his fear of bridges. We attended the 2 day off road class in the spring of 2011 with our friends the SMIBs. From this endeavor the TTRU was formed. Here he is posing with his "Eleanore".  The rest of the players......(NOTE these pictures were taken at the end of three days of riding.)
