I was just driving around today thinking about nonsense (its ok, I am a professional driver, do not try this yourself) came up with an idea about getting rid of all the rats in NYC. Train a small group, about 1000 or so, of zombies (come on...you know they are already here) to eat rats. Close off the streets at 9PM till 3AM and let the zombies out and they will eat the rats. At 3AM, we play the song they have been trained to respond to and round them back up till the next night. I bet they could eat 100 rats each, every night. 1000x100=100,000 a night is a good start. if the program is successful, meaning civilian population "incidents" is below about 5%, we can expand it to different crews for each borough! "incidents....well, you know some people are going to try to mess with the zombies and a certain percentage of those people will not make it home again...but hey, no plan is perfect.

With in a year we (I) would have solved the rat problem in big cities! If it fails and we now have a Zombie infestation, I will just delete this post.
zombie rats. Remember

Arsenal of Sprave's 15 "best models" of impressive slingshots

Only way to top that build of disc weapon would be to construct a 18 volt Lithium-Ion Laser Guided cordless weapon which ejects its disc along the path of its laser marker at full rotation speed, and which has a reloading magazine like a auto vinyl record-changer!

There's still a lot to do to change THIS into a deadly Laser-Aimed Rotary Saw Disc flinging weapon. The stacked saw disc magazine (Saw Changer) in particular is going to require much . . . . input & effort!

Inspiration for the Reload Magazine here! Its going be a "His Master's Multiple Zombie Head-remover" when its completely finished!

Your request for Laser-Aimed Lithium-Ion-Powered Rotary-Saw-Disc Teflon-Slide Crossbow has now been successfully processed. It still needs a magazine and more range...

Ok stay away from hi tech as the power will go out. Keep It Simple Stupid as the Sargent Major used to say. 5.56 and 9mm are and will be widely available as will bats and pipes. A decent rifle such as a demarco C7 or SA80 A2 plus a Sig P229 and a 3' scaffold pole filled with cement will do. Don't worry about fly off contamination or "slowing down with chest or limb shots shoot for the nose and mouth and watch them drop.

I would rather have a piece of sharpened hardwood then a 3" concrete pole. Dragging that concrete around would get real heavy. I like my Ruger .22 and only hope it works!

Agree, however, if you don't destroy the brain Zed continues....

Imagine the number of ankle biting body-less heads laying around just mindlessly chomping at your ankles....

Destruction of the head/brain is necessary to eliminate the Zombie

note to self- In the future just refer to hand-held very sharp slicey-cutty things!

further note to self- supersede promoting all non-power operated hand-held very sharp slicey-cutty things with the less tiring motor-driven extra-long reach hand-held powered long-reach rippey-cutty things.

illustration of 43cc hand-held powered long-reach rippey-cutty thing

You get tree-climbing (or over moat) zombie hordes making trouble and my hand-held powered long-reach rippey-cutty thing will be superior to your naginata any day.

Now, take this double-ended chainsaw-pole thing (above) - one can take out a zombie infront & behind with no effort.

Now, as to all you gun fans. What do you do when your favorite ballistic toy jams, or runs out of ammo?

If you lack a good zombie-slicing chainsaw bayonet attachment, you're likely plain zombie fodder.
