ANOTHER 22mm Handlebar thread

I have used these and sold these in the past, they are fine and are the standard "U.S." bend.
Figured I would share. You might want to check their website, they used to carry three different bars.

I recently found some bars I really like at a local bike shop.
22mm bars that are between a Euro bar and a USA bar. Made in China,
but what isnt anymore?
BikeMaster Daytona chrome. $23.95.
The price was right.
By the way, these are listed at 7/8" but I put the calipers to them
and they were 22.17mm. The switch gear went right on.

Do they really measure at 22mm?
The importer/distributor (Tucker Rocky) lists those as 7/8" bars in their catalog. They also have them in Black. but if they're 7/8", it's a moot point anyway.
BUT, if they are indeed 22mm, it would be a real breakthrough for all of us airheads.
Pics?

How crucial is the 22 mm diameter? 7/8" is 22.225 mm. Is that extra 0.225 mm way to big?

You bet!
that's why there's so many threads about it.
You can do it, but it requires laborious grinding on the bars.
I'm ordering a set in black and check'in it out.

They were marked as 7/8" on the packaging, and I was prepared
to grind them down to make them work. I was glad I didnt need to.
I'm really liking the feel of them, they remind me of my old '67
Bonneville.

I've got a couple sets of Bikemaster superbike bars on my Nortons. They measure 22.216 mm.

I just re-measured at the switchgear and one side is 21.99
and the other is 22.03. The 22.17 I got at the center.
Hope these work for others!
