Alternative: Cut a piece of thin aluminum (plastic/wood) the same ID as your carrier. Attach a threaded rod to the center and make it long enough to reach the end cap. Insert the round piece in first, the dump all your parts in there. When you need something, just pull the threaded bar and everything will be pulled right out. Kinda like them old soda straw dispencers...

This way, you can even put small stuff in there and be able to retrieve it.

OR - just pop a wheelie with the end cap off and dump it all out
