Running it now for about 150 miles. I must say I agree with Bill, motor is exceptionally quiet and smooth.
I will run it for 1000 miles then send it off to Blackstone for a UOA and we'll see how it held up against the Amsoil 10w40 1000 mile UOA I have out of the same bike.

Thanks

Thank you for the positive feedback guys. We are glad that you like the sweet lube in your bikes and hope to meet some of you at the Rocky Mountain Adventure Riders event up in Silverton Colorado where we will be giving away some of the good stuff.

Later,
B

Rocky Mountain Adventure Rider

We attended the Rocky Mountain Adventure Riders - Silverton AMA event again this year as a sponsor. As usual the riding was unbelievable, the food awesome (over 250 massive Rib Eye Steaks served on Saturday) and company great.

$1000's in giveaways to which we contributed (2) cases of 15w50 and 10W40 Full Syn and one case auctioned off for $100 with proceeds to COHVCO. If you want an affordable unforgettable adventure check out some more events here http://www.rmariders.org/
Here are some pics

As promised.
The DR liked it a lot it seems. However the viscosity did degrade to a 10w30 weight in 1,000 miles.

DockingPilot - Would you mind confirming my assumption - is this a head to head comparison with Royal Monarch 10W40 on the left and two preceding Amsoil 10W40 tests in the past to the right?

How does your bike ride with it and shift?
How was your oil consumption?
How nasty was the oil when you changed it?

Thank you for posting up.

Well my intent was not to be a head to head comparo with Amsoil but that is what I use normally. So to the right are the results from the last amsoil test that is correct. Same mileage and same engine. To apples to apples. Both samples had similar use. The only negative I sees with the Royal Monarch is the viscosity breakdown to a 30 weight If Royal was looking to improve the formula that would be where I would point them based on this UOA.

Oh. DR650, no oil consumption at all.

A cst of 14.74 shows the viscosity is still well in the 40w range.

I am using the 15w50 and have no complaints with this oil after switching from Amsoil.

I highly recommend this oil and the customer service from Aimhi is great.
