Cry

Thank you for the order 32x20 and Charles!
Glad it performs well in your DR650 and Ural.

Yeah - Great to hear Joel!

I'm pretty sure it was the new formula. We had the factory make us a 10W40 as well. We will be bringing some to your Death Valley Rally for auction or raffle. I am really looking fwd to it!

This is my way of providing a premium US made product and raising some funds for OHV trail protection.

Later,
B

So what weight would be recommended for an 2009 R1200RT that operates in temps ranging for 20-100 degree F?

I'm running the 15w 50 in my 09 GSA here in North Central Texas. Temps slightly warmer than those you mentioned. So far so good

Sorry for the delayed response. I concur with Pizzaboy. The 15W50 will give you even more protection since it is rated for 15-200 degrees F.

Here is another inmates quote on his 1200 BMW.

"I run the 15/50 in my BMW K1200, the Scrambler and the Honda. But I've noticed the 650 L Honda seems to do better with the 10/40. "

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Finally got around to changing the oil in my 990. Noticeably quieter valve train and smoother shifting compared to the Motorex 10w50 I had been using. Time will tell but I'm pleased so far.

Just sent the last check of the year to RMAR.

Check them out if you are coming to the Rocky Mountains or want to dip into some of the most adventurous multi-day rides. Over 80% of their proceeds go towards advocacy and keeping trails open. This is my way of contributing to the cause.

RMAR Rendezvous http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=941273
Held in Silverton CO. The base is located amongst one of the areas in the Rocky Mountains with some of the highest concentration/ accessible 12K peaks by adventure bikes - truly epic.

2014 Noob Rally Death Valley

We are proud to be a sponsor of the 2014 ADV Death Valley Rally. If you make it out there hit me up. I'll be on the XR650R that looks like a CRF. I'll also have a bottle of Karma Tequila (that I'm bound to win) to share

I don't think I've ever seen an oil thread with no fighting. I'll give a case a go. Anyone running it in a 955 tiger? Thinking about the 15/50. Any thoughts?

Full disclosure here - you scope out the factory spec sheets and pick your lube. If you don't like it you get you $ back. Never had a refund.

The 15W50 is the right one for your nine fidy five

Hi SuperSpeed - whereas I would love to ship to you it's almost impossible due to the 25LB shipping weight and box size. I sent you an email as well.
