So who is Royal Manufacturing? Can I trust this brand? Yes!

Celebrating 100 years in business, they are a leading manufacturer and marketer of lubricants and greases in the United States and around the world, both in Royal brand and private label manufacturing.

"Royal manufactures hundreds of different types of lubricating oils and greases by utilizing biodegradable, synthetic, and mineral base oils for almost all types of applications including mining, steel mills, marine, construction, oil and natural gas, manufacturing, agriculture, and transportation. A significant share of Royal’s total business is private label manufacturing.” - www.royalmfg.com

I have a 99 BMW F650 thumper with a wet clutch. Manual says 20W50. What Royal product would you suggest as I am going full synth on my next change.

Hi - The 15W50 is perfect, it will provide better protection at lower temps than the 20W50 but still flow at the correct rate at operating temps.

Thank you,
Bern

Thanks! That was before a quick 1k mile weekend camping trip to WV.

You might be envious of my bike...but I'm envious of your location! Colorado!

Hi Bern, do you have 10W40 in stock? After reading this thread, I'd like to try this oil in my DR650. I also think it's great that your business supports keeping trails open.

We sure do. If you are in a really hot area and plan on slow /technical riding with high engine temps go for the 15W50.
Thank you
