No. The guy that painted it used PPG paint. He took the original stock tank and matched it. I think it was a little too much blue tint to it to match the original, but it does look good.

That was sorta the idea. My wife likes to ride my GS, but hates to have to stop on any kind of iffy surface. Thanks

Fortunatly she still had her K75S to ride in the meantime. Plus I dug lots of holes for azelas and other plants as penence.

Norton, When I first looked at the damage to the bike, it made me ill. You've done a great job on the bike. I have always loved those airhead Beemers. It's a sweet ride again!
