Waterloo Rec. Area has the best dirt roads in Washtenaw Co. Strommel is not one of them.

Here is one of the better roads just outside of A 2.
After you get your picture, follow Tubbs road down to the Huron river and Huron river drive.
Just after taking this pic I passed a herd of about 8 deer just off the side of the road.

Loving that we have a Washtenaw photo tag! I've been wanting to get out around the Waterloo area and do some more exploring. Fell in love with the area a few months ago and almost bought a house on Clear Lake Rd, but it fell through

Gas Guy!! i love the directions of following up after the tag. Thats part of what I really wanted to do was to expose the beauty and uniqueness of so many of our dirt roads in Washtenaw County!! so many times i think i want other people to ride a certain section to see some beautiful swamps or a patch of blooming lilacs... im getting emotional haha.

I kept the xL in the water runoff ditch for an even more offroad experience.

For the next tag, i have a close easy one, but its kind of a dark photo.
Or i could do something a little more off the beaten path tomorrow morning.

That's a FEDERALLY maintained two-track! Not many around here.
