Thanks,
It gets to a top speed in the high 50s. I might hit 60 if I tuck down like a cartoon character. It actually cruises along pretty comfortably in the 50s without feeling strained. I like it alot. If lane splitting was legal I would be able to fit through anything... It almost feels like a bmx bike.

Can blame the typos on my busted thumbs.
When you figure out a date let me know and I will try to make it.

never knew it was there!

This was a little tough to find, i've lived in the area and driven by here many, many times and never knew a park was here... thanks!

Next up, fun road, a little twisty and hilly in this area, was just graded and chlorided so it was fast too! Bemis near Ernst...good luck. second pic is close-up of wording on the barn. Suppose I could have moved the bike to eliminate the metal sign...lol.

1325 lake shore Dr. Ann arbor. Not much of a serious dirt road being in the middle of town but it is a neat park. Nice place to have lunch along the river.

mystery spot

I started out looking around Argo Park at the canoe rental, my son used to work there and although I couldn't place the tag I figured it must be close... did a loop around the headrace and park and was about to head further up river to have a look see. Heading toward M14 from main street in A2 I just happen to see the sign for a park opposite side of the river from Argo...entrance is tucked in the run of businesses there and very easy to miss, obviously as I've never seen it!! Technically it's a dirt road in the park....Lol.

Hi thanks. The bmx dirt course is at the back of the park section on lake shore. When you are on main street heading toward m14 you turn right at lakeshore which is right by the Lotus car engineering building. Then take lake shore till it dead ends at the back of the park. This is where the UM men's rowing team practices also. The other in nice thing is that this is part of the washtenaw county B2B bicycle and running trail.

so far, so good....

That was the shake down run, put em on in the garage the day before, twice, but that's another story...Lol. I had intended to go w you all on the BMWTCD U.P. ride and wanted to have them before that. Work and circumstances got in the way, so washtenaw and other dirt road action is all they will see for now. Definitely different than the scorpions on the road, initial turn-in will take some getting used to but no real surprises so far. Have a great weekend and ride safe. Sounds like you bought an 800 also?
