Dang! You young guys always get those foxy hitchhikers!
Thanks for more great pics and panorams. Love 'em.
Side rack hardware is notorious for not only losing bolts ... but for cracking. (wash board) The cracking part will come later. Loc-Tite everything you can easily get to. (Blue, non-permanent)

Once again, you prove yet again Tourtech is over priced, often poorly designed stuff. But I would simply have a welder/machinist repair your Shark fin. Build it up ... make it stronger/ better than the original.

Great to hear your tires are holding up! And your chain and sprockets look good too! Awesome!

I always worry about mud clogging radiators and stuff. On my DR650 (air/oil cooled) I try to keep mud out of fins. But I guess its so cold up there, not a worry. In the tropics things may change ... and your Tar Baby mascot may need a Hawaiian shirt instead of an Eskimo suit! If you think cold is tough ... wait till the tropics. Carry on! Rubber Side Down!

Nice report. Thanks for the Prudhoe pics. There's a flashback I didn't need. One thing that I think you need to work on is your diet for the long haul. I'm sure the cheeseburgers and fried foods are tasty but you'll be one fat bastard with a bad heart by the end of your trip. You'll be forced to eat better outside of NA more than likely but you can still do better than that while you're here. Save the cheese burger binge for when you make it stateside again.

I actually lost 10 lbs coming up through canada. I eat pretty healthy but the cheeze burgers are way more fun to show pictures of. No one wants to see pictures of oatmeal, canned fish, cous cous, veggies and so on.... or maybe you do?

Not hitch-hiker. A friend from collage. But yes, why do something like this attached?

Egg sucking leach pattern worked great for me last time I was there.. I'll admit, this was some time ago..

Now that I think of it,the Anchor River down by Homer might have some spring spawn run..?

Might be a real test for that 4-5 Wt.rod.

Ahoj Noah!!

Ti si Ceske, ne?

My first clue was one of your early pics with the bottle of Becherovka sitting on the table, and then, of course, I saw your last name on your photos.

Are you planning on visiting the Czech Republic?
