Go hard mate. If you're hitting NZ in the springtime you'll no doubt have a few rainy days to kick back & catch up on the RR

Finally caught up...fantastic RR and like everyone says, this is one of the best I've read on ADV and thanks a lot! As I was getting into your northern Thailand section I was really interested to see if your route took you through Mae Sot...and it did! I live there several months each year, working for one of those NGOs at the Burma border that you commented on. Love it there.

Now for the withdrawal while you ride through Oz. Looking forward to the next post!

I'm way behind on my reading

The adventure and the report of said adventure is what's fun. The comments, like mine here, are what needs to be redacted.

Tenere for you

Noah, You're more than welcome to borrow my Tenere if you hang out in the Pilbara once your Carnet is done. It's been down the CSR once already! That is if you can lower yourself to get a bit of blue in your veins!

Hi Noah

I've been in NZ South Island for a month with a rented car... It's a dream. I was wondering at that time how it would be by bike

I'm in Darwin now. I'm thinking i'll leave tomorrow. I have 2 weeks and about 5000 km to get to sydney. that will give me 5 days to cleaned the bike and get it stamped out of the country before the carnet expires.

I've met some cool Kiwis who all told me I have to be on the south island in November for Bert Monro days. So I'll definately make it for that. In about an hour I'll get my computer back. But I'm not going to post anyting.

Noah 08 KTM 690 ADV. 125,000 km. 42 countries. 5 continents and counting.

Sounds good, did you end up doing the canning stock route?
