R1150R fuel tank question

Anyone know if the R1150R tank will bolt onto the R1100R? Has anyone here tried this? Pics?

Not sure why you would want to...the 1150R tank and scoops are ugly to me compared to the 1100R nice smooth style.

The biggest issue I see is that the scoops are for the oil coolers maybe on the 1150...not sure though, but if not, why the heck would they put those ugly scoops on there. I do not think the 1100R has the cooler there on the sides.

As far as just fitting onto the frame, I believe they would nest on there, but the coolers may be the issue.
