That SPOT device is cool, I can track you like a Buy Here/Pay Here used car. I can't wait to see the satellite views as the scenery gets awesome. Plenty of rooms here if you add SE PA - Philly to the way home.

Trying to decide where we will end up tomorrow. We decided Cherokee National Forest, but what part? Mark has given us great suggestions, so now it's just deciding..... Decisions, decisions, and more decisions.... It's rough, I'm telling you!!!

You lucky bastages, your a while out still from our neck of the woods, by the time you get here to the AK-you'll have a lot of advice chimed in by then. It's a different breed out here, in Alaska you can camp anywhere you feel comfortable, so long it is public lands, which is pretty much everything. Western Canada, same thing, but they have nice, more formal campgrounds every where-usually with showers. One shower usually cost a loon for 5-10minute showers. If you find yourself in the islands of western Canada or Alaska, then you are most definitely welcome to our campfire. We have a couple of showers a hotspring, but only deep enough to dip your toes. There are some nice camping hotsprings in the.b.c and Yukon, depending on which route you enter the AK, which is only like three different roads or by ferry. I always struggle to find camping in the lower forty-eight, it stresses me out every square inch is owned by somebody. I can't just pull over, for me camping down their is a culturally different mental paradigm.

We did not make it to Cherokee NF due to a spot of trouble with one of the bikes and had to bail. The weather turned bad too. Hate we missed you hope you have a good trip and better luck than us.

We are holed up in Telico at a MC campground with the Honda V4 group that is in town. This will be our second night here. Real nice folks. We rode the Cherohala Skyway over into NC today and came back on the same route. Somehow we missed almost all of the rain.

Mini, we didn't end up at the right campground anyway, so no worries.

No plan as to where we will go tomorrow yet.

Oh, and the Spot device is no more. It failed to turn on after two days riding. New batteries were no help. And it won't work with any rechargeable batteries. So its going back.
