Doubleplay, Your sig line, "One man's adventure might be another man's daily ride", reminds me of a couple of guys I know who live in Inuvik. They will tell you that riding the Dempster Hwy may be the adventure ride of a lifetime for most, but they ride it two-up with their wives just to get Chinese food in Dawson.
