1200GS wheel compatability- the final word

Ok, I have read through several threads trying to figure it out. Can we get the final word on this?

What works on a 1200GS for wheels-
K1200- yes, modifications unknown
1150 GS- no go.

For the following the 180 rear has issues with clearance (muffler/centerstand)
1200R/RT/ST- direct bolt on, shorter lug bolts.
1200S- front needs axle spacer, brake caliper adjustment (grinding ) or custom caliper mount

Assuming that these are all 2004 + years. Anything earlier is a no go?
Can we get confirmation of all this info?

The 1200S wheels should work, there are other members who run the setup. Another option would be to find HP2 megamoto wheels.

From what I gather the RS/RT wheels are and easier match, the S need modification of the bike?
Any word on the K bikes?

K wheels

I believe these fit but I don't think you can run higher than a 180 tall tire in the rear

This bike

Is owned by Marc Parnes, it just popped up in the flea market recently. He would be the man to ask about it.
