The weather is just to iffy for the ride. It's raining in the Carson NF were we are suppose to ride (and its raining here now).

And, for 114 mile ride that takes most of the day to ride (6-7 hrs) and wanting to get up Kiowa Mtn tower, I think a group ride is not gonna be wise, especially if one breaks down or gets hurt.

It's suppose to rain tomorrow too.

I say postpone it to say, June 2?

Bummer

The latest radar shows only light precipitation over the Carson NF even though ABQ is getting hammered.

Welp, the bike is prepped. Guess I'll pre-run the BBQ ride, the rain should make it nice and tacky in Caja Del Rio

This is a bummer, but I was probably going to bail as well anyway. Just too far to drive for iffy conditions. I really do want to do this ride sometime this summer . The 2nd won't work for me due to Sipapu trials event, but I may use your tracks and try this run sometime in late summer or fall if nothing else.

Thanks for heading this up anyway Geo and I hope the weather is kinder to you and the group on the 2nd!!

It is looking like the monsoons are here, the 2nd would be good. I hate the Mud in that area anyways, not a fan of sliding sidewaysfor 4 hours.

The Lucas Oil outdoor motocross is that day up in Lakewood, CO----am planning on going. It would be awesome if you could schedule this ride for a different day......

Hope you guys have a good ride today. I'm jealous as hell. I need to find a way to strap my child to the bike.

It was posteponed due to rain yesterday and today. Glad I made that call...it is very cloudy up here right now. We are now toying with an alternate date in June.
