If I wanted a scooter, I'd get one.
It's still a manual and the lever still functions as a lever, unlike other ACs this one even has the ability to bump start with a couple turns of the adjuster. The clutch shines on tighter technical stuff. If a person were to live on pavement and gravel roads ignore the Rekluse. If you want to explore some single track???

I for one am happy Rekluse is taking their time getting it right and that someone with the engine mods is doing the testing. If soomeone wanted a lighter pull after install I would recomend a hydraulic clutch because she is much firmer once installed, but since it is the rare moment you pull the lever in it is no big deal.

If my YZ450F is a scooter, I reckon I'm "Scooter Trash"

I have just put a Rekluse EXP in my XT660R even though Rekluse would have you beleave
they don't make them for the XT660... But they do..just list it as a WR450 EXP..
The XT660 & WR450 share the same friction plates...
now I have just got to get it tuned in for the lower/slower reving XT motor..
Going to try the heavy wedge weights..But it works pretty dam good as it is now..

Not yet. I had a small setback in my testing, and further testing with a new model is needed.... Rightfully so. Remember the reason we beta test these things are so all corks are eliminated before they get to the market. I call this one Small, but significant. I applaud Rekluse for not jumping the gun releasing it premature, like the bike was, by BMW.

Temporary yes.....but as som as they turn the new gen. EXP I will asume the testing. All I can say is that it was good that it was tested brutally. I will shed more light....as I am allowed, and they get close to production.

I'll take a stab at it. Odd wear patterns in the slots for the wedges. To the point the clutch cant fully engage, almost there and not noticeable when holding a steady speed but on technical sections it becomes noticeable.

I bet it's as easy a fix as better/differant housing material.

No..... Not even close....... After about 1000 miles, the EXP had very little wear, nothing to worry about. As my video's notate, I tried to break it. Sorry.... Next.....

I am almost at the end of my clutch adjustment at 57k miles. Hope we get the production Rekluse before I have to shell out $350 for BMW kit.

Thanks for testing this Erling!

Yeppers.... Just remember the Rekluse EXP replaces 3 fibrous disc's and Two metal discs..... There are a total of Nine of each in there, so If they are worn out...... you still need to stock up on new stockers..... Sorry.

Test is halted, as I am waiting on the new style EXP. It is not for sale yet.

You're a tease.

False hope abounds. Hehehehe.

I just wrecked my knee so I'll be sitting around with nothing to do for a while.
