I have this installed now.....

I had this installed when I began betaing the Rekluse....

They are both great products, and both minimize the off idle hop.

These are fair questions, and I am sure you would mind answering them, as some feel that you come on here, as a new poster, and sorta "stir the pot"

Erling,

You need to be more specific. Your questions are too vague! He only understands the information you are providing about technical aspects of the clutch that might benefit him personally. What you have written here certainly has the potential to be completely misunderstood so it is just completely ignored. I guess.....

I still owe you a beer. Sorry I didn't get a chance to look you up this weekend. You get up north sometimes?

1. Yes, I ordered and paid $649 for the clutch.
2. Yes
3. I installed a Z-Start Pro on my old KTM. This is my first EXP.

I get now why everyone is so pissed off. (I appreciate your insight Oly) Since I've owned one of these before and knew how great it was and that I heard they'd developed it for my F800, I connected through a friend of a friend to make the order. I believe we both thought this was not an "early" order because it was ready to go from a production standpoint. I don't know much of the backstory details but there were some legal protection processes that came up that delayed the full release. Since we had an agreement, we called it a "late beta". It's still a full sale on a production part. Everyone here will be getting the same thing. I have no control over their business process and it's not my role to speak for them. The person I dealt with honored their promise. They are an honorable company and they make a great product. I'm a douche for talking about the product but for not explaining my story.

It sounds like orders are going out now for folks. All I can say is that it's a great upgrade to the bike. It's not a miracle. Nothing is. It just does is what Erling & SOP says it does.

Lesson learned on this side. I've got my fire suit on if someone needs to flame me.

It is all good Eric.
Clearity on the matter put it all to rest. I think that after these things ship, we will all need to have a " stifinderoel".....
Or translated from Danish..... Pathfinder beer , as there have been to much stress, and agony over this release. I feel like an idiot when I once again say:
We are only a few days from the big party...... And we have come so far, and I for one are greatful we have kept this civil.I think that shows a lot for us GS hoppers.
Bravo.....

So is my clutch coming or not?

Still not heard anything. (apart from the distributor confirming he had ordered me one a few weeks back, no ETA given).

Still patiently waiting. Well...maybe not THAT patiently...

Thank you Erling. I have my issues. I earned them the old school way.

My bike is my therapy. I'm not getting much therapy lately.
