Yes

Have one on my TC450 and love it on technical trails. Just in the midst of installing one on an XR1200 that sees it's share of off road use. If one was avalible for the F650/800 I'd have one on mine as well.

F800GS going in on Monday to Rekluse

Well guys I live in Boise. I saw a posting by Motorfiets in a local thread about needing an F800GS. I am happy to say my F800GS is going into Rekluse on Monday for R&D. Will be there about 2 weeks for the measurements, etc. Will schedule again after a prototype is built and installed. I'll update you guys as it progresses and certainly when I get to play.

F800GS Rekluse

Thank you sir for three things.

1- being nice enough to volunteer your ride for R&D
2- forcing me to spend money to help a struggling economy
3- making me a better human being or least act like one so my wife won't kill me when I buy this...

F800GS Delivered to Rekluse

Today after making arrangements, delivered my F800GS to Rekluse. They will have it for the next two weeks. I have to say they are a great group of guys at Rekluse, They are as excited to get started on this as you all are in having come to a point this is actually happening. They obviously want this to be successful and feel there has been plenty of community interest to warrant this at this time. I will keep you advised and if I get any insight or progress. They did ask to be patient in posting information too early about the progress and/or development. This post is just to confirm to you all that progress is actually happening!

Rekluse

Nice to know that they are developing the clutch for the yellow bikes first!

Would some one explain the Rekluse clutch to me from the rider experience perspective? I have looked at the website and what I gather is that the clutch releases when you go very slowly -- slow enough to stall the engine. But -- do you still get engine braking going down hill? What about up shifting, downshifting? OK on the road, in the twisties, at highway speeds etc? Thanks in advance and please forgive my ignorance. I have some left hand tendon issues and so less clutching is of real interest to me.
