Hallo,
I use the Rekluse Core EXP on my Gasgas 515 and I love it so much. Full concentrading on riding on heavy tracks, no stalling on uphills and sharp corners. I also ride a F 800 GS, even on sandy or muddy conditions (Sahara). But there is one disantvantage: You always must have correct gear to use the motor-brake when riding in a corner (on street). That means more downshifting. Also You must find the correct gear uphill to provide clutch wear out. So I will not mount a Rekluse on my F8. Please apologise my bad English. Greating from Germany Thomas

Agreed, I was under the impression that the first part of the through was clutch and the balance rear brake???? I think we need clarification on this.

Pick up the bike Tuesday
Just an update
Picking up the bike on Tuesday this next week. Rekluse notified me an EXP Rekluse clutch was successfully installed on my F800. After I meet with him and see what he has to say I will update and provide a further write up. They had told me prior that it was available a week ago but wanted to have the bike another week. I decided that it might better benefit all of us if their R&D time was not cut short so they could finish all their testing, etc.

Do you know if it is the standard EXP or the Core EXP?

Ditto. Previously I've only used the Z-Start models but an EXP should be sufficient in this application as well as the cost being in the $400 range as opposed to the $800 range with the Core EXP or Z-Start.

EXP - standard???
I'll find out more when I pick it up, but presume it is a standard EXP. Here is the email from Rekluse. I am trying to get there on Tuesday afternoon
-------snip------------ Hey Lon, I’ll have your bike ready, with an EXP auto-clutch in it, to pick up anytime next week. Let me know what day/time works best for you. Thanks, Logan
