Yea, but I like NASCAR too.

Let the stoning begin.

Its not like you can separate out Speed Channel from the package of channels it comes in. Mine comes in the "extended package"..which also includes other channels I want to have..like Velocity, Nat Geo, TLC, History Channel, etc.

Sadly, more of America is into Nascrap than is into worldwide motorcycle racing. 60 million four wheeled fans bring in more advertising money than 1 million two wheeled fans. if TX comes to be, we'll have three US tracks, and it will still not be as big as we all would like.

The main thing is, both WSBK and AMASBK need to reach wider audiences. Both need to be available online. It is the 21st Century after all.

Update from Brett McCormick himself. He looks like hell, but the prognosis is good.

I agree wholeheartedly. I'd love to know if WSBK and DMG have to pay for SPEED to broadcast the races. If that is the case, I can't see why they would choose that over providing the races online.

Problem is things online do not bring in the advertising money that TV commercials do. As usual, money rules everything.

It is greater exposure for the series sponsors and for the team sponsors. It all ties together.

Nobody watches TV commercials any way. They FFW the DVR or they change channels until the commercials are over.

If you can triple or quadruple your viewing audience, you can then ask for more sponsorship dollars.

It is a brave new world. Evolve or die.

I never said to do away with TV.

I said expand their audience.

How many people do you think actually watch AMA SBK via SPEED?

Precious few.

I downloaded the Eurosport broadcast of the races. However they didnt show the McCormick accident. I however say it on youtube.

Has Checa come out and said anything about it?

offtopic: Anyone know where I can catch the AMA race at Road A?
