Hello Le Crab.
Cheers
Phil

Hi all,
ADV newbie here, usually live on kiwibiker (I'm an NZ based welshman) but I'm in SW France with the family until Jan next year and just bought a cool 1986 DR600 for some trail/adventure riding, I have an 07 DR650 back in NZ.
So far I've just explored the local chemin's but hoping to get some longer rides in before I head back down-under. Hoping here is the place to get organised with some other like minded local riders...
So where we gong then? Should I bring my tent?!

OUch!
Sorry to hear about the foot.
Are there many other active adventure riders in France who use this site? I had a quick look at the SW France camping trip thread, but that seems to be about it.
I think theres a local 'moto randonee' club that could be worth getting in contact with - any of you have any experience with these type of rides? Seems that as they are a mix of quads and bikes their routes must be pretty easily paced, so would suit the DR600 - maybe?!
I have tried to see if they have a website or email contact as my French is a good as you would expect for a welsh educated Kiwi (ie non existant!) but just a phone number on the "marie's commune list of organisations" is all I can find...
Any other suggestions on how to link up with other riders for some off road rides...

I'm also quietly harboring an idea to head south to Morocco later in the year...Shhh dont tell the missus yet!

Hi Lemovice,
I've been riding the chemins and trails around St Matheu near the Haute Vienne/Dordogne border, If you like you could take a ride over and I'll show you round - my current favourite is a 50km loop, starts easy then gets gradually more challenging. Or If you have any rides near to you I'm happy to ride over as well.
You busy sunday afternoon?

Offer open of course to any other riders locally who would like a guided tour of how to get lost on the trails around St Matheu!

By chance are there any inmates who happen to live around lagnogne? I'm stuck on the side of road with no idea of where to try to limp. Anyone know of a moto shop in the area that is not on holiday? Or how to tow a motorcycle late at night.

Thanks
