kbasa, I tried reading your explanation about market stratification and whatnot, but all i got from it was, "blah blah blah boiled shrimp blah blah blah". Then again, I'm pretty tired and beered up so my reading comprehension and retention goes wwwwaaaayyyy down.

But from a user's standpoint (e.g., MY standpoint), stratification makes total sense. Want a pristine CB350 stator? Old's Cool flea market. Chrome plated LC4 skidplate? Orange Crush et al.

Impose a month long lifespan for posted offerings if need be to reduce bloat.

Whaddya say?

1st ad in the above forum & 2 non for-sale posts. I propose that is not a good way to start. maybe keep the discussion on this thread & leave the 4 sale thread clean. After all you guys did ask for it.

Happy to help, folks. How about we make this the AFM discussion thread and keep the noise out of the other one?

Thanks. Internet wide moderators have bad reputations ... and plenty of evidence to back the rep up ... But not so here.

Old's Cool and Airheads are pretty great places to hang out, and that's a big reflection on you.

PS - Agreed

It's probably because I'm the world's laziest mod. One thing I've learned is that less moderation is usually the best plan. If people are pissing each other off, I'll get involved, but that's about it. Flood, who also mods here, has about the same approach as me.

And, I appreciate the help you guys all lend to keeping things civil. Thank you. No participants = no forum = no knowledge transfer.

These bikes aren't getting any younger.
