Looks like a lot of curves on those roads. Straight roads are much better for fuel mileage and maximum efficiency is always my goal.

Haven't heard from the FF. I told him I was now able to leave Weds. afternoon and join you for a fun ride Thursday and I asked him if'n he'd be able to do the same. He said he'd let me know this week.

Your route looks a lot like what I would have plotted, based on my eager scanning of my maps. I'm ready to roll now.

I'm with you, the straight more flat roads with multiple lanes should be better, would you care to share your route, I'm sure spacewife will love it.

If things go as planned I should be passing by Front Royal on 81 between 8 and 9 AM. I will be on 81. riding a black Harley with out of state plates.

The real fun ride for me will be Weds. afternoon when I get to enjoy the wide expanses of I-81 all the way down to Steverinoburg.

Enjoy I81. The only time I get on that road is if I am in a cage. I'll be plotting my route via backroads.

Take 211 all the way out and take the secret back way down to 42 and then the fun roads in - beats I81, just don't do it at night, west side looked like Bambi Heaven.

I'll take 211 from Warrenton to 81, for sure. If I can blow off work (sucks) early enough I'll take the 42/615/etc. route and avoid most of 81.

Nah Since Freak won't let me put the RT in and take it for a ride, I decided that I will be taking my time and dealing with what I got to do.

So if you see a hobblin old coot round about Thursday night that will be me.

Haven't plotted my route yet. Figured I would take as many backroads as possible but have some bail-out points if I start running late. I might be interested in tagging along but I am not a 10/10th rider. +15mph, don't really pass on double yellows unless I am stuck for a long time, etc.

If you are interested, guess we could always start out together and if I am holding you up, I won't be offended if you ditch me. :-)
