Looks like this is the route I am going to take. Seems like there are plenty of bailout points to bigger roads if the weather sucks or I start running late and needing a cold beer.

Still working out the details.

Howdy CC et al.

Let's hook up in HS or maybe en route. I plan to head out in the cool evening moisture on Thursday and stay at a friends place around Harrisonburg, VA. We'll set out from there down Rt 42 and swigley points beyond on Friday AM...

We're rolling from Chris Kleponis's place in DC Friday at 6:00am sharp. PM him for directions to his place if you want to join.

It looks like a BIG day of RAIN. So we might superslab it most of the way down 81 and 77. However, if we can, we may do some bits of the following:

66 => 522 => 340 => 64 => 250 => 42/615 => 77 => 81 and Johnson City then 70 to HS.

Great meeting all of you guys. Had a great time both on the way down and on the way back not to mention down there. Finally got tired about 4pm yesterday and was only in Lexington, so I jumped on 64 and blitzed back up 81 to home. Ran into my brother-in-law at a gas station in Basye. Home by 7:00 or so.
