Anyone know the piston size on those Brembo monoblocks?
Only thing i'm missing on my adv950 is the stopping power and lever feel of my superduke R. I know it's worthless on the dirt but i like it for my hooligan rides on the street. ![]() And the SM-T is a great streetbike! So if it's updated one it wil be even more of a 'drivers license killer'.

From Motociclismo
PERFECT DRIVING the driving position is good: hard to touch with both feet (short tester), the grooves in the tank aren't very narrow. the seat padding isn't as confortable as aspected. the handle bar and the footests are perfectly positioned for both turism, sport driving and standing in off road. exellent the windsreen apart from a slight pressure on the sholders. good the regulating system of the windscrean. THE ENGINE? EXELLENT vert fluid starting form 1.500 rev even if less then the new boxer, it's much longer with an impressive progression up to 10.000 rev. there are vibrations between 6.500 e 8.000 rev. otherwise it would be the top engine to combine turistic and sport needs. the good news is that for turist traveling at 130km/h the rev. are 4.500, out of the vibration range. the cluch it's exellent fot it's softness and modulation. SPORTY ELETRONICS In stort riding mode the bike is prompt but not rude. going into street mode the frist part of the thruttle becomes "buttery" . exellent the traction control that is more sport oriented then BMW: intervenes softy, preciselly but it's not invasive. Super the ABS as well. QUASI UNA SMT Ciclistica? Scendere in piega, cambiare direzione, ecc. ALMOST a SMT It is almost like riding a 990 stm only slightly slower in doing things. gering down in a turn, change direction, etc. beeing the SMT a wordwide benchmark.. this is a f....g result. Sorry for the poor traslation my english is what it is. My idea: the tester was in south africa a couple of week ago and it sounds like he has interests to push BMW... |

It sounds like it's going to be a great bike. I wish KTM every success.

This beautiful thing will sell in bucketloads. I may get one myself in a couple of years.
There's no rationale behind this - it's just a beautiful bike I want ![]() Wonder what that headlight shield is made of - and how robust it is?

This confirms that new bikes always have little problems: the anti wheelie system doesn't work
