Congrats if true but I doubt it is so.

Are you confusing this with the super duke 1290?

No. Go back a page and read the board report. It says that the 1190 Adventure is a stop gap and the 2014 will have the same 1290 that the new Super Duke has.

What experience do the forum have on this? Is this normal "evaporation" from the expansion tank. KTM have not exactly put the tank at a cold place...

Audun
it seems like my bike could also possibly have a slight coolant leak - see pic below and feel with your finger if there is any fluid once the bike has cooled down

I had the same problem, found a small dripp on the floor each morning, but when I check the top and bottom radiator hoses, the clamps were only finger tight, i tighten them a bit more and the problem went away

I spoke with the dealer, and they gave me some BS story about the hoses softening during use,

Hi Audun

I have the same thing specially when I am on heavy traffic or just stop after a long motorway ride. It's smells petrol sometimes. I only experience it when the weather is very hot.

Fixed.

Have you considered that KTM may have altered their plans since then?

Obviously they have skipped 1090 considering they have 1190 which is the middle size. :-)))

Have you seen the Bike magazine supplement on the Adventure that was produced earlier this year, they actually show pictures from the R&D dept with the discarded 1090 concept sitting there in the flesh.

I think the plan was drawn up before the changes were made and the 1190 became the machine they built. Whilst the 1290 is appearing in the Superduke i cant really see a company changing a brand new model within a year

Plus an 180+ hp adventure would scare the shit out of me, especially on 18 and 21 inch wheels!!

Let's hope they turn it into a 1290 SMT then!
