The cross country crew made it safe to my house. They are all crashed out now. We are going to wait for Allen to arrive in the morning and then the adventure begins. I love Baja and this trip could become one of the best ever.

We're all loaded up at Trey's house waiting for Allan to get here. After we link up with Allan we'll be heading south for Mexico.

Where are you staying the night before the race?

I think they are staging out of John's/azcagiva's place south of Percebu. I'm going try to meet up with them there or aound the Borrego pits. I'm not sure what section Ed is running,but I think it will be at the N end of the course.

Just getting down to meet the team on the first was an adventure. I had to work late on Halloween finishing projects and then had to pass out candy. I got three hours sleep before driving down all the way to south of San Felipe.

Yesterday we began our pre run in earnest starting out East of Borrego at the OX (Jeff Kargola) memorial. we pre ran 92.9 straight miles on sand whoops finishing in the dark at John's house near Percebu. I think both Brett and Scott wanted to punch me in the face this time. They didn't see much value in riding this brutal section since they are not racing it.

It was pretty spectacular and we made pretty good time averaging over 30 miles per hour through one of the toughest sections of this race course. Scott only crashed four times and Brett only had one off course excursion but kept it upright.Today we worked on bikes and plan to pre run south to Coco's Corner and beyond. Tomorrow we will do Bay of LA south. Should be fun. Will update tonight with some pics if we can.

Was just looking at the starting positions on Score's website and noticed they have you guys listed in the Sportsman Moto Under (as in under 250cc) class. Aren't you running a 450?

Ya I noticed that in the article that mentioned all the teams racing for benefits and causes. Thought it was just a typo on the article...

Andy, John Sr. here. Ed explained this to me at the hacinda in Playa Hermosa a couple of nights ago. Apparently it's 250 2 strokes & 450 4 strokes or less.

Wait....we just realized that Allan posted the link to MY tracker by mistake. Then yes...thays the tracker we're using.

Allan and Chris took off for a 250 mile section by them selves today.
