$25 + shipping sound about right?

Brown's side stand $125 shipped.

SOLD

I purchased a new, unused Brown's side stand for my R75/7 from a forum member-- it was as he advertised.

Unfortunately, I failed to notice it works with a stock dual exhaust setup, and I have a 2 into 1 setup, so it is not compatible (unless some one brighter than me has a simpler fix than a new exhaust setup).

Back for sale for $125 shipped CONUS.

Thanks.

SOLD

Small /6 Tank in Schwarz/Weiss for $275 shipped in CONUS. Good condition with a few small pebble dents along the top and left just outside the pinstripes, pictured.

Paint and pinstripe appear to be original and are still shiny, and the roundels look really good. The inside looks clean with some normal flaking of the BMW liner. The tank came off a bike that was running well.

Each picture below links to a full-sized image for more detail.

Big fin exhaust clamps for $45/pair or $25/each shipped in CONUS.

Crap! That's a bummer. Here's a possible fix from Snowbum's website:

Quote:
The best side-stand Snowbum ever used was one he modified for an RT. It was a Brown that was modified so the horizontal metal piece bolted to BOTH the front and rear motor mounts (studs changed to longer, see hardware article and below in this article too). No clamp was over the exhaust header pipe. For safety purposes, there was a pair of added pegs that allowed an additional spring to be used (not that I ever heard of a Brown spring failing).

A sale is pending. If the transaction doesn't get done in 24 hours, you'll be next up, if you still want it.

Thanks.

Later R90/6 cylinders (99mm spigot). Very nice shape. I had them measured, and they are marked.

Top: 3.546" Bottom: 3.545"
Top: 3.546" Bottom: 3.544"

These are suitable to keep your bike running with stock pistons for a while (with ~0.004 clearance), or to overbore to the first-over. With NEW stainless pushrod tubes (~$90 value). $300 plus actual shipping cost.

Or...overbore to 1000cc. I have a nice pair of 93.97 pistons if you want to do that. Pistons + machining for $400 extra (machining by Engine Dynamics in Petaluma, CA). Result will be a perfect fit and a plug-n-play 1000cc upgrade.

I have an old luggage rack that came off my 1973 R75/5 but I have no idea who the manufacturer was, it came with the bike. Looks solid, chrome is pretty good for sitting many years! My guess is that it may clean up real nice. I've got a few pics on my Flickr page @: http://www.flickr.com/photos/woodly1069/
Let me know if you are interested and thanks for looking!
