That Harro is very cool looking! Where would you get new base foam and a map pocket nowadays?

main frames wanted

I'm in search of main frames for the monolever G/S-ST models and GS paralever models. They need to be 'straight' and not modified. Titles are not needed or wanted.

I have plenty to trade for or will purchase the frames outright.

Thanks

Carl

WTB Tank for 80ST

I have a new-to-me 80ST which came with a leaky tank... I had drained the tank and set it just outside the garage door in the sun, to bake/dry out and try to patch it, and.... yep, you guessed it..... forgot about it and backed over it with the car.....

Yeah, I know.... dumb and dumber.....

Needless to say, it was marginally worth it to fix it before, but definitely NOT now... so....

Does anybody have an inexpensive, castoff-but-useable tank for the 80ST... the tank for an R65 would fit, and, I am told, the tank from an R80R. I don't care about color or minor dings, preferably not rusted-through, though!

Needed asap... summer is going by, day by day......

I would start by drinking more of what's in that bottle and on Tuesday call Ozzies BMW at 530/345-4462. I know he has an extra St or G/S or R65 tank.

Thanks... unfortunately, the 80ST has it's own tank mount system, shared only with the 80g/s and the gs airheads. And, the r100R Mystic tank fits as well, but that's it....

A big THANK YOU to HARDWAREGRRL for offering an unloved tank from her spares, at a lovely price... which will get me rolling again soon...

Dang, Bob! And I thought I felt bad just for letting my ST tank fall off the trailer it was sitting on and get a tiny little ding above the tank badge.

I wouldn't know whether to curse or cry first on that one.

First you curse, then you cry.

sorry about your tank.. I am still on the fence about selling my full set of ST body parts. One day if I find a rough ST I would like to make a nice minty one.

New Krauser Lid

Hey

I have the new version of the Krauser hard cases made by HepcoBecker. I bought these from Bobs BMW a while ago. 2 years ago I was in an accident and cracked the left case lid pretty good. Does anyone out there have a left side case for sale? Or a broken case but good lid I can replace mine with? Here is what I have, from Bobs website.

I was the US importer for Hepco Becker for 12 years and also had the opportunity to see how these bags are made and the only way to replace the lid id to send HB the bag. This never made much sense to me as Siebenrock who has the exclusive rights to these bags offers the hinges on their website. Contact vertrieb@hepco-becker.de or krystian@siebenrock.com.

Wanted: /7 Seat

**UPDATE** Got a seat now, now looking for the grabrail. See new fleamarket posting.

Looking for a rust-free seat pan or whole seat with the little turtleback for a 1978 R100/7. Ideally just a pan, but I'll think about a whole seat, just might have to count my pennies first.

My seat pan has rusted out by the hinge mountings.
