Good point! I hadn't thought about the fact the ribbed style came out before the updated clutch.

I need a transmission cover for an 81-95 trans.

Also available new. 46 54 2 300 008 Max's lists for $33.79 I bought one about a year ago. You will get a pair of keys. Number will be random but if you know the number of the other one they can try to match it.

Fyi, just in case, the 3 digit code for the key is stamped into the side of the lock, when it's opened. Usually, keys of a certain number can't be ordered and there are 30 or so possibilities at least.

Corbin R85DT

Hello all,

I have here a Corbin seat that I have no use for. It is a R85DT. More info can be found here: http://www.corbin.com/bmw/8593dual.shtml

Its in good shape with the exception of the one corner that has a small tear and a couple spots on the bottom lip are a bit rough. I don't know when Armando built this seat, but the sticker has patent dates of 02 on it. I'm not really sure what to ask for it, so $150 + $30 for shipping. If you're local to the NoVA area I can deliver within 20 miles or so, or you can pick it up. If you think $150 is a bit too much let me know, and feel free to make me an offer.

If your name is Airhead Al and want the seat back, give me a shout and I'll deliver it.

Instrument Cluster

SOLD! Thanks.

I also have an instrument cluster off a 95 R100RT.

Speedometer, tach, odometer, trip, trip reset, oil pressure, generator all work. Sometimes the neutral indicator works. The turn signal and high beam indicators have never worked, might just be the bulbs. Other than that its in good shape. The previous owner fixed a broken trip reset button with a pen and a screw....it works though, I used it like that for the last few thousand miles resetting it every tank.

Also included is the bracket and the connector with about 16" of wire on it. $200 + $20 shipping gets it. If you think that's too much make me an offer. If you're in the NoVA area I can deliver within 20 miles or so, or you can pick it up.

Not too concerned about the finish, but must be straight, and the front should be the revised design. Nearer to Pennsylvania the better.

Figured I would check here before I retreat to eBay.

Thanks.

WTB: crash guards and seat trim

still looking for a set of black crash/engine guards that would fit a 78 r80/7. i like the 2 piece kind and not the one piece. they don't need to be pretty.

also need the black plastic seat trim pieces for a stock /7 seat. with all you folks creating custom seats, got any of these laying around from your old rusty torn seats?

thanks

What is a "normal" aftermarket side stand?

I might want one also?

There are people that can fix something like that but it likely would cost two or three times more than another seat pan from Ebay or a Flea Market. It just means you may be looking for the part you need for awhile. Wire brush it and throw some paint on it. Use it till you get another.
