WTB Excellent Cond Clutch Control 81 - on Airheads

I am looking for a Excellent condition handlebar clutch control set for an 81 on Airhead.

Here is a pic of the part:

I don't need the Lever itself if that helps. Mine is heavily oxidized and I need to remedy that. I do not need the Electrical portion on that side unless the price was right and it was in Excellent condition as well.

Custom Aluminum airhead gas tank

New custom made aluminum alloy fuel tank for BMW Airhead motorcycles years 1970 to 1984 and beyond. Will fit bikes with an under tank master cylinder as shown in the pictures. Perfect for an urban style street tracker / cafe racer or for a track or race bike. Professionally pressure tested and leak free. Comes with flip-up gas cap, not attached. Fuel tap bungs are unthreaded so you can fit your preferred petcocks. Will not fit with the stock seat and a custom mount is needed. Use it in its raw state or add paint for a personal touch. It looks cool as is, for a rough urban style cafe racer or vintage race bike for the track, but I would not recommend that you polish it due to it's irregular surface. I bought it on a whim from the Netherlands and while I like it, I wanted to polish it and for that you need a tank as smooth as glass which this one is not. Looking to just break even here.

$550 plus $38 shipping.
PM me if interested.

Bill, This looks smaller than a standard large tank until the shot of it on a bike and then it looks larger than an OEM large tank. Any idea of how much it holds?

Charlie

I never measured the internal volume but I estimate it to hold about as much as a stock large tank.

Vintage BMW Tank Bag

***SOLD****
Magnetic and expandable with straps. The zippers all work. There is some cracking in the leather sides near the bottom but no holes. Map window is in very good shape.

Still available: Also have stock rear shocks (/7) with adjusting lever. (no pics yet)

Looking for chrome Krauser racks for my /7 with seat belt buckle latches, or other interesting parts for a /7

Thinking of going a different direction on my seat. I recently recovered it. I think I did an ok job. I cannot give up the grab rail with it as I plan on using it still. I was going to ask 150 shipped. If anyone is interested send me a PM
These are the only pics I have right now but will try to post better later. The pan has some surface rust I will treat before sending off. Comes with both hinges but could use new screw from a local hardware store near you. The pad is in great shape.

Thanks.

R90 fork sliders, springs and internals.

Excellent condition, no white rust. Have been in dry storage for years, will need new rubber. Have the sliders (single disc), and everything inside the tubes, including some interesting looking springs (Progressive?). Also a pair of what I think are anti-bottoming springs.

Long springs are 21 1/2" LOA, short spring (slightly small OD) are 4" LOA

Still looking for that elusive brake rod and wingnut...and maybe some/7 drum brake pads.
