WTB for "old style" for bottom plug
I bought 2 new rubber fork slider plugs from hucky's.
The style he has now is about 1.25" in diameter. The older one I have is 1.5". Using to plug the triple clamp acorn plug I cut off and looking for an "As-new" larger diameter one. They're under $2 new. I'll paypal you $3 including shipping for one you have. ![]() The use (this one is checked and will only get worse)

unpainted square valve covers!
I've been ebaying a bunch of stuff lately, but thought I'd offer these up here first. Left side is really nice, right side has a scrape from being dropped, not too bad. I soda blasted these not long ago, so they're nice and clean. I'd be happy to e-mail you a picture if you're interested. $45 plus shipping. I'll leave 'em on here for a week or so, then they're going on ebay. Thanks all.

WTB: genuine seat for 1st series R90S
WTB: genuine seat for 1st series R90S
Hi everyone! I'm looking for a genuine, good condition seat for my 1973 R90S. The repros I find from the usual suppliers are not so similar to the original one, so I would like to buy a BMW seat. If someone has one to sell, please email me: afrova@yahoo.com (better if with some pics enclosed...) Thanks a lot! (Sorry... I'm not sure I've posted my request in the right section, maybe I did crossposting, so webmaster can erase my ad in the general market, if requested...) |

WTB: left exhaust for '82 R100, some stuff to sell
I swore off airheads a few years ago and one snuck into my garage. It needs some care and like most of the strays around here it'll probably get it.
I need: - left muffler - advice on push rod tube seals - probably lots of other stuff once I start playing with it - better bags I will be selling: - almost new progressive rear shocks - RS type handlebars - RS style fairing (not sure what make and will send photos)

Man, I really like the R90 style smoke paint. Looks great!
One tip, ( sorry if you already know this). Sometimes guys replace the rear seal, when it's actually the oil pump cover seal that's leaking. ( ask me how I know!) After you pull the trans, check the back of the flywheel for oil while it's still in place. If it's dry, it's not the main, it,'s the pump. And if it's gear lube, it will be on the clutch cover, then natually, it's the input seal.

The forks have gone but the tripple trees remain to suit an airhead. The will suit forks such as Ohlin and CRF Honda as i have had both in them.
The stem has been machined especially and pressed in. Can be posted worldwide $250 email tomaxalex@yahoo.com.au

Stack 'o BMW slash 2 rims
Here is a pile of rims for a BMW slash 2. As far as I can tell there are no '55 or '56 rims in here. Some of them lay flat on the counter and some don't. One pair has been media blasted by someone and they have a rough texture. One of that pair has a cracked nipple which would require some skilled welding. Another rim has been attacked with a hammer, which is unfortunate as it is otherwise quite nice. ALL OF THESE RIMS REQUIRE WORK! Sorry about shouting but I don't want someone thinking they are getting something they are not. All have dings, dents, tire iron marks, etc. All are, however, repairable. The pictures look better than the rims do in real life. If I had the time and inclination I would send these off to Buchanans and then sell them off, keeping a nice pair for myself. I don't have time and if I did I would be trying to get my damn /2 back on the road. Most of these are stamped "weinmann", all have BMW part numbers and the 5 tire retention dents. Let me know if you want more pictures. $350 and you pay shipping. I get to Upstate NY regularly and can ship from there if you are not in a hurry. I'm in Ottawa, Canada if you are nearby and want to check these out.
