If your lever is pink/faded red it's the right side assembly, unless somebody switched the levers themselves.
,
Yellow is headlight on off switch, along with passing light, low / high beam and horn.
Red is kill switch, turnsignal switch and starter button.

So, which one do you need ?

Love 'em, hate 'em....I don't judge but I've got one for sale

Vetter V fairing with mounting bracket, harness and matching lowers off of a '75 R75/6. I know these aren't everyone's cup 'o gravy but if you're in the market for one, this is one to look at! Pretty great condition overall. Has one scrape on left side edging where PO hit something doesn't look dropped tho. Have key to locking compartment as well as vinyl "skirt" that goes around forks. No idea what it's worth but maybe $150.00ish? Local pick up (Central Illinois) as I think shipping would be cost prohibitive. Here are some pics. PM with any questions. Thanks all!

That makes two of us, but I'm looking for both for project. Bring 'em out if you got 'em.

The last two of these I've had I had to give away. Good luck.

I'm half-way tempted to hang that on my R90/6 just to be contrary.

Rode tens of thousands of miles behind fairings like that back in the day when a bike was my only transport. Was glad for them, too.

If you still have the tiny ball, the spring and the floating contact plate, it can be cleaned up and put back together. If you lost any of them...new switch or another dead one you can strip for parts.

R65 in Chico - Ozzie's BMW

I believe someone was on the lookout for R65's

Stopped into Ozzies this week to see a nice (not perfect) R65 in Red/White for sale. Give em a ring if interested: http://ozziesbmwcenter.com/contact-us/

I'm rebuilding some. The turn signal block (/7) has a way of fracturing and it's spring rusts out. Working on a polymer replacement for the spring. Other than that if you have the parts the thing is pretty rebuildable. The ones I am working on were sitting in front cover out in the rain...wrong side up, and were pretty bad inside. Surprisingly they clean up .

Need a type 94 carb top.

I dropped mine and broke it. Somebody want to trade me something for a good one? Needs to be free of white rust and intact.. 94/40/113 or 114 carb or similar. For an 83 R100. Don't need the body, bowl, guts, etc. Just the top.

R100RS sidecovers

Original off a 1983. Original paint as far as I know, monza blue (?), color code 542. I'm not impressed w/ the paintwork, each has a drip on the edge although I never noticed before I took them off.
Other wise solid. Each is missing one RBB, the short on one, the long on the other. These can be fabricated. Typical wear for the age, no cracks, including on the hooks.
$80+ shipping. USPS money order only please.

It isn't and I'm regretting proposing it before doing more homework. I value it more than what you would pay your man if he had one--eventually he will have one.

But I got those ratty ones if you want to fix one up---or have me fix one up, I have a round of glass work coming up. I do nice fenders, mostly specially reinforced /5. They don't crack, including cracking the paint.

I'm working on my rear at the moment, in my build thread. Should have a post up in half hour on the latest. I want to run that blue /6 I have but I need to figure out the brace mounts at the fork.
