1981 R100 parts lot

I have a huge pile of take off parts from my 1981 R100RT

Complete upper and lower fairings with stays, guages, glove box key, mirrors, lights and lenses (the wiring harness not included).

Pair of mufflers

Pair of Koni shocks

Batt box and tool tray w/ cover

Rear fender with taillight and turn signals

Chopped up rear subframe with seat lock (I think I have a key for it, I will have to look) ETA I do have a key

And some other Misc parts I can't think of off the top of my head.

ETA: horns (not available anymore), grab handle, front fender (not available anymore), handle bars bar risers, airbox and lid, emissions equipment, OE braided fuel lines, Vacuum lines, Owners manual,

Available for pickup in western Washington

$400.00 obo for all of it as a lot, I dont want to separate it I want it all gone.

I would trade for: a good rear disk brake final drive (good splines)

part trade for a 18" snowflake disk brake front rim (if there is such a creature)

And I need to purchase a side stand with bolt and spring

The front snowflake on a R65 is 18", not sure if it will fit your application. If so, I might have one for sale in the coming weeks...

Ok did some more research on the carb that I have that needs a float bowl and clip. This is a 40mm Bing carb (the big boy). The carb body reads 94/40/105. Max Bmw tells me I need part numbers for the clip and bowl:

13 11 1 335 316 and 13 11 1 254 765

And the gasket is 13 11 1 254 764.

Any body got some of this siting around before I drop the bigger bucks to buy them new from Max? Thanks!

The dates, from 9/78, doesn't make sense really but this is the only part listed and it is in the right part of their fisch and it is listed as a 40mm carb. So I suspect they will work.

BTW, there were apparently chrome bowls available in that year but they are NLA.
Hey guys. Lets keep this kind of stuff out of the flea market. This really should be kept to offers from inmates. There are ample opportunities to discuss parts elsewhere.

There's not a post on this page that belongs in this thread.

Thanks for helping keep the noise down.

Yeppers ... paid a tad more than I wanted too .. but seeing that I didn't need to paint it ... I guess I save some there.

WTB: Parabellum or Rifle Fairing for R80 G/S

Like stated in the title. The number plate from BMW is NOT enough wind protection for me.

The Rifle "Sport" or "Superbike" Fairing looks like it would work also.

Thanks,

Steve

Ready to move up

Have grown out of my 71 R60/5 (original owner from Krauser in Munich) and ready for a 750 to 1000cc Airhead. Any thoughts on good or not so good years or models in the under $4,000 market.

Also where is a good site to search for a S.F. Bay Area bike?

Thoughts???

WTB: R100s fairing

I just picked up this sweet '77 R100s this week. Such a nice ride! Handling and power is exactly what I needed after owning an R80RT. Really excited to own such a great bike. Anyways, it came with a Luftmeister fairing which is great on the highway but i want to find the original 's' fairing. The volt meter and clock work great so I can integrate them. Anyone have one out there? I have the metallic red version of the 100s.

Thanks!
