Happy Holidays, Admiral. 27 degrees -- I think it is colder in St. George right now.

Season's Greeting I guess!

Me and Georgie making the best of a bad motorcycle situation (Snow).

Even with tire chains on, still hard to ride in the sugar snow. I even managed to get the neighbor's horses excited when I get stuck (2:00).

Very cool. I hope Georgie holds on tight when you are riding in the snow.

First pic with the falling snow . . .

Stay warm up there.

Full Disclosure

Howdy Ladybug, hope your planning for the Jamboree 2014 is going well. Or at least having fun planning it. I'm always amazed how Georgie stays on. If not, at least a softer landing in the snow eh!

RRR, got to admit, somehow when I uploaded the photo's, the "snowfall" picture automatically made a copy and added "fake snowfall". I didn't do anything, so not sure how it happened, but it's fake. ...cool looking for now so I used it. Your snow photo's on your thread are awesome!

Here's what it really should look like. Georgie still ready to go!

Awesome videos, I'm glad you put them together and share!
I was looking at your holiday camera placement video on my phone and thought you were running chains? I don't get the chance to practice in snow often, but for me it would be easier walking :) .
Thanks again and hope you and everyone else watching has a happy holiday.

Yep, I got chains on. Nothing helps that much in deeper snow (chains or studs), but the chains work well on the packed or not so deep snow.

Very nice legacy of rides to share over time. Really like the older structures and explanations.

Admiral, first I have looked at your threads and it looks cool. The first few loom like awesome riding....I did not pay attention if it stated but is it western Idaho, or eastern? Beautiful country.

Thanks for checking out the thread, though riding has slowed for the winter. Only quick rides in the local BLM land.

Most of my riding is in Western/SW Idaho and Eastern Oregon. Don't have to go far for tons of exploring.

Local BLM first couple weeks of January. Snow melted now, chains removed few days ago, still too muddy to go offroad yet.

Admiral, are you sure you just don't want to come down here and ride with us? You saw our last post, so you know there is no snow to worry about. This weekend we're heading to the beach, it's supposed to be in the low 70's. There's even a state approved dog-beach nearby.
