Here are the 45 and 47 second runs of Hitch. Both runs messing up the cones slightly, so no go on our wall, but I still want to share these.

And here is also a Vietnam rider at around 42-43 seconds, love those quick turns around central cone and the turnaround cone. Very impressive.

had a good time today, stole a Harley, dr650 supermoto'd, aprilia 250 scooter, DRZ (yawn), and tried to steal a speed triple but he had the keys in his pocket....

but I did snag a Police package Honda for a few minutes ....

absolutely no pictures of that romp though, just know that they will wheelie, OK ?

Woohoo what a day!

I love the "Remote Competition" and I posted it on the Dutch Gymkhana Facebook-group. Hopefully, several Dutchmen will join in.

An idea for the page:
If you let people select their country/state, it could encourage an international competition even more.

I heard the "Hitch" was used today in the Gymkhana event in Lelystad, Netherlands.
The figure was a lot of fun to do.

Video's are made as far as I understood, so I hope to see some entries.

some pic's

man they were gettin down, and even in the wet !

shameless plug for our local weekly gp8 meets:

http://bamarides.com/ride/planned-ri...007/#msg244007

weather/temperature permitting, it's just about nice enough to start having weekly meets again.

i'm hoping we can lock down a larger parking lot for these, and turn it into a flashmob of fun.

You all absolutely rock!

We did get a new time submission of 47 seconds for the Hitch.
Updated our site with the time and video link.

http://www.moto-gym.com/competition/remote-competition/

We are also waiting for a submission from Vietnamese riders, who apparently managed a 42-43 second run. That should be impressive to watch. Hopefully we'll get a link to their official video soon.

There are a whole bunch of videos here though, with fastest being at 46 seconds. Those guys are pretty fast!

Here is the playlist of all their tries:

Liquid_ice: I like that idea, about adding State/Country to the submission form. I'll get on it right away.

I'm starting up the GP8 THURSDAYS this week, so I really need to sharpen up before the new kids make me look sllllooooooooowwwwww...

I'm going to setup the hitch tomorrow, do my best to burn it down, and bring the record time home to Alabama.

one other thing...

i'm looking for a timer like the audible countdown timers used for downhill skiers, hear it at :49 here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrxEZt-tz_k

i was hoping someone had already found one on the android market and might recommend it to me.

i'd like to have my phone give me a 3 beep audible countdown, then start the stopwatch. if i had the phone's display visible in the video... that would rock ;-)

Apparently it's getting more attention these days....a friend of mine sent this to me today. No mention of Gymkhana in the article, though.

Found a timer that does audible tones counting down to the start... Then a different tone for the "launch" , it's called "track timer" on the android market.

Not the prettiest interface, but the only one I've found that does audible count down, then starts the first lap count.
