It was fun on a bike here's some pictures of that blown out tunnel:

It was impressive to see the cars and all but the biggest trucks using those bent bridges

Was the resort you happened to stop at and take a swim and get a free lunch named Sierra Mar?
Here's the pool:

You guys did a great job getting around the island.

No it was right down at Pilon but 12 km before, on the peninsula passed Hotel Farallon, no name on G maps.

Thanks mate, we enjoyed it much more once we stepped off the main drag/ViaZul bus route.

Would have been neat on Maya but we were happy with what we did and what we saw .... that coastline road was mint tho 4 x 4 in the rental car with smoke coming off the tires

Hello

Thanks for the list of current PEEPS heading south. Looks like everyone will pass us while we are home in vancouver working this summer. But seems we all have the same goal for Ushuaia for the end of the year. We had a beer with Trevor in Samara on thursday night.

Sara

Heya Sara

Great stuff, yeah by one thing and another we are miles behind where we had tentatively~sorta thought we would be but no biggy.

Kinda half time change sides as we were up front to start now behind pretty much all ... we need a bigger bike.

We will set too in SA more on the Andes and the Chilean side to get to Ushuaia then turn around and come back up doing the zip zag while winter sets in behind us ... or at least that is what we have chatted about .... bound to change again!!

We are currently in Playa Del Carmen at Leslie Dymond's home (Garry Dymonds daughter), Ellen has to have tooth/bone operation on Wednesday so we will be on the move soon after to Belize then Guatemala to learn the lingo.

Say hi to Trevor if you see him again.

Re the PEEPS list, no worries and if you find anyone else worthy of "the list" ping us back.

Luv t o you both, cheers Andi & Ellen

Hey family

I think that is the Tulum one you are talkin about, on our list when we head to Belize.

Great you guys are in the new Casa ..... make sure that pool is ready when we return to AZ

Yeah Ellen has a gnarly bone infection so a bit of an op, see if they can do a nip tuck and boob job at the same time

Enjoy Baja, any set destination or just wondering?

Luv to all, Cheers Andi & Ellen

Just wandering around i think, we intend to get to the bottom and see the sights, any recommendations of must see things?? We have 3 weeks so we intend to beach it up a bit, we looked at the ferry, but one vehicle and 4 bikes, seems like a stack of money to us...

Of course you didn't. It was Captain Dominique Prieur and Commander Alain Moffat that specialise in that.

Glad to see you guys back. Food looks so good and so do the old Chevys.I'll take all them pics and throw them with the ones sister sent me, but she forgot to take as many as I wanted.

Got more??? I'll take them with the Cushman pics.

Stick it to the rental car.....If you are ever in Quebec when I am there with a rental, we'll go for a drive.

Keep it up....back to sanding the ceiling, wasn't feeling the groove for it anymore. Got to look good for when the other Kiwis show up, I know he is picky on all that poolishing/painting stuff.

Never found an enduro to head south, that's OK....couple more days and the K should be on the road.No Starbucks here, just Kick Ass coffee....I doubt I'll see any big boxes around, maybe still too chilly.
