Thank you sir!!!, it is a fine line between conveying your point and sounding like and unappreciative idiot.

Wow, appreciating your guys words, THAT in itself makes it very worthwhile.

A lot of people do see just the shiny side and don't get me wrong most of it is very shiny but you need that shine when the clouds are in thick to remind you of the good as n reality we are just doing a new unpaid job.

I had skipped over your summary, but went back and read it just now. sure glad I did! s'truth man! Life is so much better when you pare away all the daily bs that really doesn't matter, getting it down to you surviving on your strengths, intelligence, weaknesses and real friends and partners. restores faith in humankind, and especially in yourself.

be careful, you may never park that bike again!

Very true words rgiroux, sometimes you have to dig deeper and other days it is handed to you on a platter, when you have mates, help and love things flow better.

I would love to know of other RTW travelers how they compare with difficulties and triumphs and everyone is different too, I guess if you don't have much shit happen then life is MUCH easier and sometimes when you are in the thick of a wrongdoing it would be nice just to hit the escape button

Oz..... do you have electricity and roads and things
Of course they do.
I recall on an episode of "The Simpsons" they showed an Australian postage stamp celebrating "30 years of Electricity"

Awesome summary, I just read it to my wife, something to keep in mind as our dream trip slowly (fingers crossed) turns into reality.

Heya Mike and Leanne

Great to hear you are planning a trip.

Read our report and take out of what will be applicable to you guys but I stand by our best advice of making sure you do do your own things as you will have PLENTY of time to be together thus making you appreciate each other more with the time you spend together.

I look forward to seeing you guys realize your dream ... any questions you have that we can help with fire away.

Andi and Ellen, you bring tears to the eye.....
Sometimes in laughter, other times in sympathy, still others in envy.
Keep up the good work.

Go Kiwis!
