need a mechanic...

I'm looking for a Denver or CO Springs shop that specializes in old Honda 4 cylinder carbs, specifically the CB400F (1975). I've had these carbs on my syncro tool and they just don't adjust like modern CV carbs. I'm looking for a real expert.

Pablo: could you use something like this tool I use on my 950?

You measure the actual air consumption in each stack

No. The carbs seems to be synced up. And all the gaskets are new, and all the valves and seats are new. So I have no idea why it's still leaking, or why it won't idle right. So I'm really looking for an expert opinion on small-bore, Pre-CV, 4 bank carbs.

But that's a neat tool. Maybe I'll find something else I can use it on just so I can try it out.

when my XR628 oil starved the top end and scored the center cam journal badly, I sent it to XR's Only.
They weld-up/line bore an XR600 head for $150. Would be worth seeing if they'll do a KLR head.

I looked around the front range and couldn't find a shop that could, including Acme in Ft. Collins and Ridge Reamer in Arvada (Ridge Reamer did the boring/piston fitting - great place that Olas recommended)

I saw the mention of Hanksville Hot Rods, and wonder if anyone has had them do their exhaust? I'm looking to get a bit more sound out of the Hemi and oem dual exhaust on the truck.

Does anyone know where I can find some quality furniture in the front range?

I'm not looking for the softwood/particle board/stapled crap they sell at american furniture warehouse or furniture row type stores.

I'm looking for some quality constructed hardwood framed sofas that are glued, doweled and screwed together with 8 way hand tied supports internally, down (or blendown) based cushions, etc.

tia.

I second Woodleys. When I buy new (which is not often), that's where I like to go.

BTW, thanks for the Supertune recommendation, Hondo. I talked to them today. They are the type of place I was looking for.

I have had good luck with

http://www.scandinaviandesigns.com/

We have bought two sold wood bedroom sets from them which are made by Wood Castle out of Oregon.

I think they are worth checking out.
