For your basic open-cell foam, go to Army/Navy Surplus. In the back they've got mattress-size sheets of it, a few inches thick.
But right, for what you're looking for ... that's not gonna cut it. Go for some real acoustic foam.

It is- I did my entire basement ceiling in it-
![]() The problem I have making blocks with it is that it isn't very tough & needs to be inside of a cover......... I think I'll be going with dense acoustical foam - anyone know of a Denver area vendor that sells it? I can't find anyone.

KLR 650 Doohickey Tools
Hello,
I am looking to borrow or buy the tools required to do the doohickey fix on a KLR. I live in the Colorado Springs but will be driving up to Fort Collins on Monday so anywhere in between, would work for pickup. I am heading to my parents house in Ridgway Co (where the bike is located) next Friday then coming back mid January. So if you don't mind not having the tool I can drop it back by then, or if you need it I will mail it back to you. PM works or my phone number is 970-318-0079. Thank you, George

I have the doohickey tools that you can borrow. I'm in Lakewood - just a few miles from 470.
Send me pm to arrange a pickup time on Monday- I'll be home all day.

I've got a ton of Mass Loaded Vinyl left over from sound insulating my RV. Don't know if that would help but the price is right!

I need a set of Vesrah VD-160 brake pads.
These: http://catalog.vesrah.co.jp/catalog/shape/VD-160.html Should be really easy to find, right? NOT. Can't seem to find a reseller who can even get them. Does anyone have a good Vesrah dealer around here? Performance can't get them. Dealers can't help. I can't seem to cross reference the pads to EBC or other brake manufacturers. I'd sure appreciate any help.

Need to borrow some hand/chuck reamers
Looking for some hand reamers to borrow for a day or two...
I am needing to enlarge an existing hole (.375") just a touch to as much as .3860" - it's 6061-T6 aluminum bar. I am not trusting the accuracy of my drill press for such a small difference (its a drill press - not a mill), so I want go at it by hand. I am looking for the following sizes in a straight fluke and handle Letter size V (reams to .3770) 9.75mm (reams to .3839) Letter size W (reams to .3860) I have about 12 holes to do. I am not sure how long this will take, but possible I can just do it at your place and not worth borrowing to mine. Thanks! John jet123 screwed with this post 01-25-2013 at 08:20 AM |

Monarch lift tickets
A bit off topic but still 'I need'...
I haven't been skiing for a bunch of years now and recently scored some nice boots and a chance to go to Monarch. So where is the best lift ticket deal? Safeway has them for $51. TIA Edit; Whoops! I just noticed I should have posted in 'most wanted'.

Ever try and buy a trailer dolly at the cheap stores in this town.
Guess I get to go to the actual trailer store tomorrow and spend the big bucks. ![]() Marc
