Looks painful. Don in Nipomo |

Look at the flex on the sidewall of the pusher tire. Wonder if that is an original Russian tire? Maybe that's why he carries 2 spares...

He's got a great ride report in the forums above about riding that bike from Washington to New York via the southern US.

Flying the car to keep the wheel out of the ditch, is what it looks like to me.
Looks like he was having fun, regardless of the reason. Cheers.

If the car tire was a foot higher I would begin to think he might be a little nutty for entering that corner a little fast.
I would guess that sliding 90% corners at 50-60 mph on gravel might seem nutty, but it sure is fun. |

Granted, there is air between the sidecar tyre and ground, but that`s hardly 'flying'.

Check out the deformation on the pusher tire. The car is about to get a lot higher.

There are a few pictures of me flying it higher. As I've said in a few other threads with pictures of me, I could have gone faster around the corner if I kept the chair down and powered through. I flew it for a good picture so I could buy the coffee mug. The one I bought has it higher than that.
![]() Ive ridden my VF100R and FJR through there at much faster speeds. Got the mug for the FJR too.
