Piston to cylinder clearance 71 CL 450 Honda

I have my cylinders in to get rebored to 2nd over with N.O.S pistons but cannot find the clearance in the manual, anyone know this info as the machine shop wants to know before they proceed.

I don't know the answer to your question but you might want to reconsider getting a rebore. I recently had a 350 Honda rebored 1 over and the shop ruined my cylinders. I'm getting 60 psi on side and 90 on the other. If I had it to do over again, I'd buy good stock cylinders and get new rings for the stock pistons. I'd have come out cheaper and wouldn't be fighting with someone that provided poor service. You can avoid that risk by getting getting good parts rather than paying outrageous fees to get someone to fix the ones you already have. Good luck whichever way you go!

That's not a result of getting a rebore. That's a result of getting the wrong person to do the rebore. I've been there too, and learned that you need to find someone you can trust, and who really knows what they're doing.
After that, getting cylincers rebored is no big deal.

Ask around in your area for the best small engine machine shop.
