I'm sure you are up-to-date regarding road conditions and openings to Ladakh but here is one more site to keep track. Has the latest info:
http://www.indiamike.com/india/ladak...akh-t12491/88/ As of right now the road to Leh is open through Kashmir via Srinigar and the Manali to Leh road is open up to Kyelong. That section usually opens all the way to Leh in the first or second week of June;) Passing it in the first few days after the road opening is going to make for EPIC pictures!!! PS: Oh, and bring some Diamox for AMS, just in case;) It's cheap in India.

More teasers...in front of Travisa Outsourcing over by United Nations Plaza in NYC...beautiful, peaceful NY can be...
 So, I'm standing in line at Travisa, and I look at this place the Indian embassy outsources all of its visa processing to...staffed completely (to what I could see) by Americans...Love it...
