Checking in from London....thinking a million thoughts....all sorts of things when I travel and ride...

First, fitting in. It's something important to me,...

Other things roll in my brain and are almost always related to the legacy I'm leaving, people I love, past and present...where those holes are in your life and learning not to dwell on them...embracing the blessings you have, loving them.

I think the nice thing about ride reports is if you don't feel like reading the author's reflective drivel then you can just skip to the pictures.

Soon pix....sooner connecting flights. Already lost one thing, I left my dog tags in the tray coming through security here in London. Silly really, why did I even have them? Dudders.

Really glad for this trip, some guilt, some of my friends think it's selfish, well, one--but I can handle that--now if one person calls you a jackass, blow it off--but two? Get a saddle. I think we're all here because we look at it differently--say yes, take a chance, be open to possibilities.

I am used to taking care of details, doing the legwork--it takes some effort to relax and accept the hospitality I'm being offered. Looking forward to meeting friends.

I totally understand as I went through the same thing as I sat on the plane for 23 hours to get to India. It is a reflective time for sure!

Here, arrived last night and am currently enjoying the hospitality of Casa D'Chandlerjeet

I think he's sleeping in the next room, just hanging out today getting bikes ready. I feel damn good, did my sleeping right up front on the plane and then stayed awake (mostly) so I could fall asleep when I got here.

Still Mark and I were up yakkity yak and "slept in" until about 7:30.

First impressions of Delhi at night: It really felt familiar. Noises, the air, the traffic, at least 2 Toyotas I'd never heard of before.

I can't wait to meet Ida Sophie

I brought her something my girls made...can't wait. As soon as I showed Georgi and Sam her picture, they made these...hold on a sec...
