I also have a nose itch problem. I wear a Shoei full face helmet and have found that there are air currents that blow all different directions inside the helmet. Those air currents tend to make my nose itch. Sometimes I crack the visor to the first notch which changes the air currents and that itch stops only for another itch to start someplace else under the helmet. One day a bug blew into the helmet when the visor was cracked. It started out crawling across the face shield then hopped over to my nose. That tickled a lot until I just raised the visor and the wind blew the bug out. I also find that my ear hair tickles if I don't keep it closely trimmed. I've never seen hair that grows that fast. It seems like every couple of days I need to trim my nose and ear hair.

Nose runs.

I often had a runny nose as a bicyclist and it's the same on a motorcycle. I think it's the huge supply of fresh air and all the dust and crap in the air.

Once upon a time I was trying to learn to play the bagpipes (What's the difference between a bagpipe and an onion? Nobody cries when you chop up a bagpipe) I used to get the worst upper lip tingle and itch when practicing on the chanter. Now I get a strong itch on the tip of my nose sometimes when riding (on the outside, no hair present). I thought it might be from engine and road vibration based on my chanter experience, but my helmet does seem to fit pretty snug across the forehead so it might be the nerve stimulation mentioned above. Aggravating no matter what causes it.

I will definitely check for that. But it seems to be certain rpm that stimulate it. The LC4 does that. Still, the pressure point might react especially sensitive to vibrations...

Fortunately, the Hornet is open enough around the chin bar so I can reach up from below to scratch my nose. not in Winter though when the chin curtain is mounted, but then I also don't wear my goggles and can reach the nose through the open visor.

It always reminds me of James May in the U2 plane. Must suck for astronauts as well... I sometimes try to endure the itch as long as I can, hoping it goes away. It never does.

Fun times: getting a little gnat or some such thing sucked into my helmet at speed, only to find the warm confines of my ear pocket.

It's happened to me three times already. God, do I hate that.
This I get all the time. Often enough actually that I have this constant worry about a wasp finding her way there one day. In these moments it is good and reassuring to wear earplugs!
