Picking up my sized relined rear brake today, should be on tonight.....leaving the fairing off so have to redo the number board but thats about it.
Trust Me's Triumph is all together and running so thats good, should be a great weekend. Really stoked to part of the actions after all these years.
Manfield on the 17/18 November, I might even spring for some extra " pit crew" tickets if anyone wants to come up for the day.

Just been looking at the Race wbsite - looks like it is gonna be a bonza affair. I was surprised how low the entry fees were. Good on them for that.
Seems to be heaps of bikes entered as well.

Manfield -mmmmm... life is for living really isn't it? I will ponder & see what's happening workwise around then.

Took today off...perk of no longer being self employed

got the rear brake sorted, made up a mount for the kill switch/oil light,checked the fluids, checked the ignition program, fitted a front guard in case the track is wet.....looking likely at the moment....jeepers I'm sick of that wind....
Be nice to keep the points for the season up ( you can see who turns up the most...

it aint the Ducati or the Guzzi)

The R90 went well once the slipper clutch was replaced.....

Average speed around the track was 131 KMPH, hits the rev limiter ( 7500) in 1,2,3 but not 4th or 5th.

Lacks the sheer power of the fast machines in a straight line but holds a corner real well.....head scraping well.

I bought some 1977 big valve 1000 heads and more recently an early 90's R80 GS motor with D ports.

I'm keen to keep it a 900 at this stage and was thinking.... worth doing something with the R80 heads and put them

on?

So whats in ...high velocity smaller ports? 6mm valve stems?......

I'd ask on the main forum but they are not really much help.

I'm keen to see what different things do in stages, on a budget.....

I don't see me ever bothering with fancy German bits, better to home my riding skills and save the money for beer.

One more week til Manfield .....charge battery, check tyre pressures.....thats about it.

If anyone in Welly wants to see a slow BMW that runs mid to rear of field this could be your chance.....

I did however have a guy come up to me at HD saying it sounded nice.

Never been to Manfield so should be interesting.

Its the last race of the 2012 season and I am now pondering what to do with the engine for next year...

a: Nothing as it runs fine.
b: pull the top end off the 1977 R100 RS motor I have and bung it on.( only have 40 mm bings for that....)
c: just use the R100 cylinders and pistons.

About to chuck the bike in the trailer & finish packing. Picking the 'happy snapper' up from school at 2 & heading south.
Extra boots & gloves, I hate putting on wet gear.
