I like the long way to town...

Toogoodoo Rd to Wilson Rd {?} 162 to 17 to Main Rd to Chisholm Rd {second intersection of at the high school} straight onto River Rd to Maybank Rd {second intersection at Island Center} and then on into town.

All pavement, looping around your elbow to get to your asshole, but a nice ride.

Yep Toogoodoo use to be a blast in my 240Z! I lived on Edisto for a few years so know my way around there pretty good. Never did much exploring too far from the island tho...

Had an RZ350 when I lived there in 1985

HoCat, Meow, what's it gonna be boys?

I can't wait any longer. Husky is back together, and I've still got half a knobby left on the rear. Some more Lisa would be cookouts too. I think I've got the gang of that after the mountain riding.
So, Saturday, Sunday, both? Let's go!

Saturday Morning October 13, 2012

I'll be at Dodges Store in Red Top, ready to go at 8:30 saturday morning. I hope someone shows up that knows the most interesting route to HOCAT from there and also someone that knows HOCAT and MEOW towards Columbia. We can take as long as needed travelling in the general direction of Columbia and possibly make Columbia a lunch stop. Then I (we) can head on up to Enoree OHV trail in Whitmire, SC (1 hour north of Columbia). The Enoree trail loop is ~24 miles long and requires a $5 permit to ride. YOU are welcome to join any part or all of this ride on whatever bike you have (there will be dirt, gravel, and pavement). Hope to see some (or all) of yall then. God bless and best regards, Ken (green KLR650 rider)

Just so you locals know, when you see a bike that looks like this, you'll know who to single finger salute!

Riding Sat or Sun Nov 3-4?

Finally back from ND, and weather's not too cold yet. Let's find some good dirt. Bart found a few more after the ones we found three weeks ago. Who's able to ride tomorrow or Sunday?
Ob1xuixote, I want to see that paintjob up close. Thanks to you and that 2 minutes aboard that DR, I'm on a Husky TE610 now. The V-strom has been sold.

I'd be interested in Ho-Cat, or anything with decent dirt.

I'll also email the group in a few.

nov 3,2012 ride

I hate to admit it, but the Mighty KLR broke, the speedo drive locked and broke the hub. Some folks just run the broken hubs without a snap ring (which BTW secures the hub placement onto the outer bearing race) and I have run it that way for about 1100 miles now but I don't feel secure with it so I ordered a used wheel. the wheel is here now so I am installing it so that I can (hopefully) ride tomorrow. I went up to notarally and it was great fun and I've ridden enoree OHV twice since (once on the way back fully loaded). I'd like to ride hocat/meow up towards columbia and hit the SC ride to lunch in Cayce. That is supposed to be happening in Cayce at noon. Then a little further up to enoree ohv for the after lunch ride. Anyone interested in any of that call or text me 843-609-5380. God bless and best regards, Ken

Got all the parts mounted up, but the E type tanks doesnt fit the S type cycle. Ordered up another S type tank, just came in today, will paint it black like I did the headlight shroud.
