Great photos of your rides!
Thanks JerseyBiker. You may be able to find a rare PCX 125cc in your area, but I can understand if you want to wait for a 150cc.

That's what I thought at first too until I did some searching in my local area to see who could rework the seat for me. When I got that sorted, it gave me so much more room to move around and stay comfortable on longer rides. I should have added I had the seat re-upholsterer add some more dense foam under the original seat to give me about an inch and a half of height too. That really worked well. When I decided to sell my Yamaha WR250R and only have one bike, the PCX 125cc was not legal for Interstate travel and that was the deal killer for me. Overall, switching to the Vespa GTS 250ie was a great move and I've very pleased with it and will probably keep it for many years. But, if Piaggio ever gets their stuff together on what they are going to do with their MP3 line up, I may be tempted with a MP3 City 350cc (that great new engine and power train from the BV 350 Sport Touring which has a much beefier clutch and very long service intervals that I felt so cramped on when I sat on one) if and when they bring it here to America.

So, the GTS 250 and TU250 are still both for sale. Some nibbles but no bites yet.

Meanwhile, the "scooter itch" has been too great to resist. Thursday I'm driving down the European Motorsports to pick up a NOS 2009 Sport City 250. This has the same engine as my Vespa but larger wheels. I'm hoping to have the smooth engine and performance of the Vespa minus the wobble of the Vespa.

I considered a BV250 or BV350 but the hump in the middle isn't something I like and several owners have mentioned it forces the rider to kick the glovebox while getting on and off. I had a SYM 200 with the flat floorboard and really liked it but wanted use a bit more HP. I think the Sport City will fit the bill nicely.

I picked up the new scoot - Sport City 250 - at European Motorsports on Wed afternoon. Left the dealer and returned the next day to pick up my car. During that time I put over 325 miles on it!

It's a very nice, well riding scoot. Thanks to Klaviator for giving me directions about great roads to ride around there.

Gawd luv ya. I, too, love the buying part...and occasionally come out ahead on the selling part.

Not often. Scooters...let's just say, in general, used is a buyer's market.

Have you started composing your for sale ad yet?

Just kidding...nice scoot. I am also looking and plan on getting a new motorcycle in the next month.

Last week my retina detached and I had to have surgery. No riding since then or for at lead the next few weeks. :(

I had ordered a new wind screen and a side stand. Hopefully I can put those on and get some scoot time that way.

The Sport City is a great machine. Very well made, rides very smoothly on the big wheels too.

Tried to lower the seat but cutting the pan. Didn't work too well so now I need to buy a new seat! LOL It's ok, I planned for that possibility.
Riding it yesterday I really enjoyed the quick pickup it has and how light and flickable it is. If I were a bit taller it would be perfect for me.

A couple of weeks back picked up a used Burgman 400. Impressed by the quality of the scoot. Nice touches like 4 way flashers, mirrors that show more than your shoulders and tons of storage under the seat.

Pickup from a stop isn't the best but acceptable. Cruising at 75 is very smooth. Overall an excellent scoot. Once I sell one of my other 2, it will be time to start looking again.

Local dealer is selling new Stella's for $2695. Wish I could pick one up and play around with it but no more room in the garage.

Here she is.

Wow, another scooter.

Didn't see that one coming.

Congrats on the new ride. I really like the Burgman 400. Hope to own one someday.
